If you are a fan of Dawn Powerwash you know that it’s basically magic in a bottle but refills can be quite expensive. Well, lucky for you, I am going to teach you How to Make Dawn Powerwash at home for a fraction of the cost!

Homemade Dawn Powerwash Is So Easy to Make

I love a good cleaner. After all, surfaces really don’t feel clean without them.

With that being said, I am also a huge fan of saving money in any way possible and this homemade dawn powerwash recipe helps you make refills for just pennies on the dollar.

All you need is 3 ingredients to make your own Dawn Powerwash at home and you can even get the ingredients needed at your local Dollar Tree!

What You Need to Make Dawn Powerwash Refill

  • Dawn Dishwashing Soap – I used the 8 oz. bottle I found at Dollar Tree

  • Rubbing Alcohol– I used 70% that I found from Dollar Tree

  • Water – You can use regular tap water or distilled water

  • Spray Bottle – I found these spray bottles on Amazon and they work great.

Helpful Tips

  • To make 16 ounces of Dawn Powerwash use 13 ounces of water, 2 ounces of blue dawn, 1 ounce of rubbing alcohol

  • To make a gallon of Dawn Powerwash use 104 ounces of water, 16 ounces of blue dawn (2 containers) and 8 ounces of rubbing alcohol.

  • This refill can be stored at room temperature

Directions:

MATERIALS

  • 26 oz. Water

  • 4 Tablespoons Rubbing Alcohol

  • 8 Tablespoons Dawn Dish Soap

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Fill your mason jar with the water.

  • Add your rubbing alcohol and Dawn dish soap into the mason jar and close the lid.

  • Place the lid on the mason jar tightly, shake it up and then let it sit so the dawn dish soap completely mixes with the rubbing alcohol.

  • Pour into your desired spray bottle and clean away!
