Homemade Dawn Powerwash Is So Easy to Make
I love a good cleaner. After all, surfaces really don’t feel clean without them.
With that being said, I am also a huge fan of saving money in any way possible and this homemade dawn powerwash recipe helps you make refills for just pennies on the dollar.
All you need is 3 ingredients to make your own Dawn Powerwash at home and you can even get the ingredients needed at your local Dollar Tree!
What You Need to Make Dawn Powerwash Refill
Dawn Dishwashing Soap – I used the 8 oz. bottle I found at Dollar Tree
Rubbing Alcohol– I used 70% that I found from Dollar Tree
Water – You can use regular tap water or distilled water
Spray Bottle – I found these spray bottles on Amazon and they work great.
Helpful Tips
To make 16 ounces of Dawn Powerwash use 13 ounces of water, 2 ounces of blue dawn, 1 ounce of rubbing alcohol
To make a gallon of Dawn Powerwash use 104 ounces of water, 16 ounces of blue dawn (2 containers) and 8 ounces of rubbing alcohol.
This refill can be stored at room temperature
Directions:
MATERIALS
26 oz. Water
4 Tablespoons Rubbing Alcohol
8 Tablespoons Dawn Dish Soap
INSTRUCTIONS
Fill your mason jar with the water.
Add your rubbing alcohol and Dawn dish soap into the mason jar and close the lid.
Place the lid on the mason jar tightly, shake it up and then let it sit so the dawn dish soap completely mixes with the rubbing alcohol.
Pour into your desired spray bottle and clean away!
